![]() In between all the dying over and over again were a few puzzle and stealth moments, and I loved those. My memory of the School is divided into distinct chunks, each separated by a platforming or combat gauntlet where I died several times in the exact same place and just had to step away from the game for a few minutes. ![]() But when Mono is tasked with quickly dispatching enemies or carefully making a difficult jump, sometimes the angle of the camera can make it harder than it has to be. During the moments when you're trying to solve a puzzle, sneak past a monster, or are just moving on to the next location, these cinematic shots are to the game's benefit, letting you soak in the world. ![]() These sequences can be frustrating because Little Nightmares II is a very cinematic horror experience-the camera turns in specific ways to frame each individual shot, and Mono doesn't move all that quickly or gracefully. There are more combat sequences where you have to lift a hammer or pipe to smash the Bullies in your way or platforming sections where you must carefully run, jump, and climb around and through obstacles, while the Teacher's head is twisting about the room, looking for you. With all the Bullies running around, the school is more heavily inhabited than the Forest and Hospital levels we've played before. Now Playing: Little Nightmares 2 Gameplay Trailer | Gamescom 2020 While the Bullies are pranksters that prefer to set deadly traps and only roughhouse Mono if they get too close, the Teacher is far more proactive, responding to every little sound and stretching her neck out like a gross snake to twist her head into biting range.īy clicking 'enter', you agree to GameSpot's In the School, protagonist Mono is quickly separated from deuteragonist Six, the original Little Nightmares' protagonist, as the two find themselves lost in a building that's inhabited by the Bullies, trouble-making porcelain children, and stalked by a monstrously grotesque teacher. And it was here that Little Nightmares II started focusing more on platforming and combat sequences, which weren't as satisfying as the more puzzle- and stealth-focused levels we've played before. The first level was the Forest that we got to play during our first hands-on with Little Nightmares II, but the second, the School, was brand-new. We recently got one more chance to go hands-on with Little Nightmares II ahead of its release, playing through the first two levels of the game. His hobbies include setting booby traps, drawing, and reading.Little Nightmares II just isn't suited to action sequences. He tends to forget stuff quite easily, so he always carries around a journal that he draws his memories inside. He, also, is barefoot. His personality is very shy and timid, though he's very invested whenever it comes to keeping the ones he cares about safe. His hair is dark brown and his eyes are a sapphire blue. ![]() His appearance features a pale blue hoodie with yellow stitches on the ends of the sleeves and some cut, jean shorts. However, instead of the attic, he lives in the basement, in a tiny crack in the wall. Four: Four is a 15 year-old boy that lives in the Complex like Ten. Her hobbies include playing with Nomey, drawing, and exploring. She is very vigilant and crafty when it comes to hiding from monsters. As all the normal Little Nightmares characters, she's barefoot. Her personality is usually very bubbly and happy, though she likes to be aware of what's going on around her. Her skin is pale peach and her eyes are pale green-blue eyes. Her hair is black with a shade of brown on the bottom of her hair. Her appearance features a dark brown-green shirt, way too big for her due to her size, and a dull brown bow. She lives in the attic of the Complex in a large crate in the very back of the attic. This was mostly because I thought them being around 9-11 would be irrelevant for the story I created, plus the characters I created weren't in that age group anyway.Ten: Ten is a 14 year-old girl that lives in my personally created location, the Complex. All of them in this story will be the ages of 14-15. In the series, all of the characters will be older and there will be a show of past characters later in the story. The one on the right is Ten, the main protagonist of this comic series. The one on the left Four, a character that has not been introduced yet but will be soon. Main Characters of Little Nightmares: Night Time,BIO: These two are characters that will be featured in my Little Nightmares Comic Series, Night Time.
